TRAFFIC JAM IN THE CITY

For a very long time Nairobi has been characterized with huge traffic jam that takes quite sometime to clear up.  Traffic in Nairobi is usually heavy in the morning hours when people are going to work and in the evenings when people are retiring from work.

Some passengers prefer using matatus that have music in them. In this case they will listen to music to ease up stress and boredom that come up as a result of long hours on the road as they head to various destinations.

Have you ever found yourself on the internet during traffic jam hours and you even never realize the time you have spent on traffic jam, actually this is another way of dealing with stress during traffic jam hours.

In this new era with the advancement in technology; the invention of smart phones, tablets, IPAD e.t.c has made it even easier to browse.

Safaricom has come up with a WiFi free service to passengers known as Vumaonline whereby they (safaricom) are to partner with matatu owners for the service to be effective.  The service has already started in some matatu routes including: Some; buruburu matatus, Kinoo, Ongata Rongai matatus among others. With this the passengers are able to browse free of charge once they are in that particular matatu.

Each one of us has a different way of dealing with this but whichever way, it's good as long as the hustle of staying on the road for too long doesn't get into you.
